Absolutely no refunds will be made for ads. Please check your ad for accuracy before mailing or submitting it online. You must fulfill the promises in your ad or return the senders items at your own expense.

AD CHANGES: Changes after your ad has been submitted to RE are $2 per ad.

You may pay for your ad to be printed more than once in a single payment. Specify on your original ad the issues in which you would like it to be printed. If you would like a previously printed ad to be repeated, the entire ad (or a copy) must be sent in again. RE must have your phone number to print an ad. You also must be a current RE subscriber to place an ad. The mailing name and address placed in your ad must have the same name and address as on your mailing label.

RE does not accept ads for selling or buying CRT’s OR complete deals.

You may pay with cash, check, signed bearer checks, money orders, specific gift cards listed in Sandy's Editor's Ad, RE cash credits, paypal (send to: rechief@alltel.net) or VISA/MasterCard. If using a charge card, the minimum order that can be charged is $5. You can make payment on RE's Order Form page.

If you have a problem with an RE advertiser, please use the Advertiser Complaint form in any RE issue or online ... Ad Complaint form, or Prize Complaint form. If 3 reasonable complaints are received against an advertiser (and verified), that person will no longer be able to run ads in RE.

Counting words for your ad is very simple. Use the ad blank in the magazine or a sheet of paper. Online, you can submit your ad on RE's Ad Submissions page or by email to: rechief@alltel.net. Each single word counts as one word, including words in your name/address. Abbreviations such as LSASE, EPOP, etc, are counted as a single word. However, using a slash or hyphen between 2 single words, or pushing two words together, doesn't turn the two words into a single paying word. Examples: giftcard (gift card), smalldoll (small doll), wooden-stamp (wooden stamp).

RE reserves the right to refuse any ad not in the best interest of our readers and is not responsible for the contents or fulfillment of ads other than our own. It is up to each advertiser to comply with manufacturer’s rules for their refund offers. RE assumes it’s advertisers are complying with such when printing their ads. RE assumes no responsibility for the legality of its reader’s actions.

Please do NOT include ads, renewal payments, etc, in your Scavenger Hunt box. The scavenger hunt boxes aren’t opened on a daily basis and it’s very easy for your payments to get lost in between all the booties.

Rules for Advertisers:
#1. Entries: Multiple
Advertisers must supply the means of keeping record of multiple entries (cards/tickets, etc). It is up to each individual advertiser as to how many entries they give for any donations received. At least one entry must be given for the reader's 3x5 card containing their NAZ and RE acct#.
#2. Entries: Free
All RE drawings are FREE to enter. As an advertiser, you can mention what you "love or like" in your ad, but specific items are not allowed. Examples of what isn't allowed: Monetary cash values (ie: "I like state quarters"), Coupons (ie: "I like $1 cashoffs"), Gift Cards (ie: "I like $5 gcs"), a specific # of proofs (ie: "I like 10 alike forms").
#3. Entries: Bonuses
You cannot offer bonuses, doubles, xx number of entries per individual donation, prizes for most entries or 50/50 type drawings, etc. You can offer double (or triple) entries, etc, only if you give the cents value you are attributing to any donations and if you list more than one "love or like". (Example: Dime entry, loves doubled).
#4. One Year Rule
You must have at least one year remaining on your RE subscription from the date of your drawing. A specific drawing date must be given for all drawings. For example, if you are holding a June 30, 2007 drawing, your RE expiration date must 6/30/08 or later.
#5. Drawing Dates
Each drawing must have a date. Advertised drawings must be held on the date promised in the ad, regardless of whether any donations are received or not.
#6. Winner Ads: Names
A winner ad (DW) must be sent in immediately following your drawing with the full name (first + last) and state of your winner(s). If you receive no entries, you must still send in a winner ad stating this. It is your responsibility to have this info in your records. It’s a good idea to hang onto your records for at least 3 months following each drawing.
#7. Winner Ads: Late
The winner ad must be received in the RE office by the ad deadline of the issue following your drawing. If your name is printed as late in the current issue, any new drawing ads you had submitted will be deleted from the current issue, with no reimbursement. If your ad is still not received by the 2nd issue following the original deadline, your subscription will be cancelled (also with no reimbursement).
#8. Drawing Rates
Drawing ads are 10¢ per word. Winner ads are FREE.
#9. RE Drawings
Drawings being held for Refund Express readers (and printed in RE) cannot be advertised in any other refund magazine or elsewhere.
#10. Prizes: Unacceptable
Drawings for cash or lottery tickets as prizes will not be accepted.
#11. Prizes: Mailing of
All drawing prizes must be mailed out to the winners within one week of your drawing. Prizes cannot be anything that are awarded over a period of time (ie: goodies sent every month for a year, magazine subscriptions, etc). If a prize is not postmarked to the winner within 30 days after the drawing (regardless of the reason), the advertiser will no longer be able to run drawing ads in RE. After 60+ days, their RE subscription will be cancelled (with no reimbursement).
#12. Prizes: Types
A specific prize must be listed for each drawing (for example, you cannot state only “Great prize”). If offering stamps or gift cards as a prize, whether as a single prize or in a surprise package, you must list the value and/or number of each. If the value of stamps is not included in your ad, “37¢” will be added and you will be responsible for sending this stamp value to the winner. If the number of prize stamps isn’t given, the word “stamps” will be deleted. Also, when offering a gift card or certificate, you must state where the card is good at, unless you are offering to give them their choice of store.
#13. Prizes: Surprise Boxes
You can offer a surprise box as a drawing prize only if you list 3 of the best "surprise" items in your ad. You must also mention if your surprise items will be in a box or an envie. If your surprise box has a specific theme, listing 3 items isn't required (ie: Avon box, scrapbooking box, etc).
#14. Drawing Ad: Address
The address given in your ad must be the same as on your RE mailing label.
#15. Multiple Drawings
An individual ad must be made for each separate drawing that is held. If having a "thank you" type drawings, these must follow the same rules as a "regular" drawing.
#16. Family Members
To aid in alleviating any potential complaints or problems, RE asks that subscribers NOT enter drawings held by family members. If you want something a family member has, just ask them for it. Thanks!
#17. Ad Package Ads
Ads purchased through an RE "ad package" are not considered full-price paid ads. When originally purchased through a package, they were either discounted or free. Ad packaged ads do not qualify for Gold Club membership or for RE coupons that state they are good on paid ads, etc.
#18. Paypal
Due to certain Paypal rules against drawings of any kind, RE no longer will allow Paypal account names to be included in any RE drawing ads. Also, please do not send Paypal donations to the drawing advertisers.

Rules For Participants:
#1. Current Subscriber:
You must be a current RE subscriber to enter RE drawings. If you don't include your RE account number on your 3x5 card, the drawing advertiser will disregard your entry.
#2. 3x5 Card:
Send in your name/address and RE acct# on a 3x5 card (or piece of paper) when entering a drawing. Prizes can only be awarded to RE subscribers.
#3. Donations:
Items listed in RE drawings are those that the advertiser specifically likes. If you'd like to send something to them, it would be most appreciated. However, you do not have to send in anything to enter, other than your 3x5 card.

Drawing Ad Phrase Definitions
Please read the drawing ad rules above for drawing ad guidelines and details. Below are specific drawing ad definitions for phrases and/or abbreviations not mentioned in the rules:

Based on dime value: All drawings are free to enter. But if any donations are sent also, they are given extra entry tickets. The value of the tickets are based on each "cents" worth of value of the donation.

CD's: Music CD's (not complete deals; these are not allowed in RE).

Loves are doubled: Any donations from the "loves" listing (for example) are given double the # of entry tickets, according to the cents (etc) value of the donation. (You can only double the value of tickets if a donation value amount is listed in the ad and if more than one like/love is given).

Postage counts: Cost of postage to send any donations counts towards extra drawing entry tickets.
